It's a great AoE taunt that builds up aggro from multiple enemies. I find Summon Black Ox Statue seems to be the best crowd control spell on this tier. Level 60: Recommended choice - Summon Black Ox Statue It can reset the cooldown of Breath of Fire, which deals a moderate amount of damage and reduces your target's damage output However useful it may seem, Spitfire is the least useful Talen on this tier. Lightbrewing is also a decent talent that increases the number of Brews you can use in combat, but in longer fights, it underperforms when compared to Black Ox Brew. It grants the most Ironskin Brew and Purifying Brew charges per fight making it the best pick for Raids. Level 45: Recommended choice - Black Ox Brewīlack Ox Brew - is the optimal choice for this tier. Chi Torpedo can be also considered a decent choice, which helps you engage your enemies faster or travel longer distances quickly in certain encounters. It launches you forward a long distance and increases your movement speed for a short duration. On the other hand, Chi Torpedo replaces Roll. While all the Talents here are related to mobility, only Tiger's Lust gives you the ability to remove snares and slows.Ĭelerity reduces Roll cooldown and increasing its maximum charges by 1. Tiger's Lust - the best option for this tier. Level 30: Recommended choice - Tiger's Lust It's more commonly used in Dungeons and while leveling It grants a skill that cast a wave of Chi that bounces randomly between allies and enemies, healing or damaging the target. Chi Wave has a very similar effect to Chi Burst. For each enemy hit, you also generate up to 2 Chi, making it a decent Chi generator and AoE heal. It's the optimal choice for self-healingĬhi Burst is a linear skill which heals all allies and damages enemies. It makes Tiger Palm deal additional Nature damage and heal you. Level 15: Recommended choice - Eye of the TigerĮye of the Tiger is the best talent choice for this tier. Haste is the least important attribute which can be omitted wherever possible

This method is the easiest because WebAssign automatically provides a correct code for each course. Purchase an access code online after logging into your WebAssign account.Enter the access code after logging into WebAssign. Important! Before going to the bookstore, find the matching prefix for your textbook title to ensure that you purchase the correct access code card. Purchase an access code card separately at your bookstore, and enter the code after logging into WebAssign. If you did, then ask your instructor to ensure that the correct textbook has been selected in WebAssign. If they do not match, please make sure that you purchased the correct textbook. Important! Before opening the access code, ensure that you purchased the correct textbook by checking that the prefix for your access card matches the textbook. Purchase a textbook that is bundled with an access code card, and enter the code after logging into WebAssign. There are four ways to obtain an access code: If you continue with your free trial, you will be prompted for these same three options every time you log in to WebAssign. You can use your free trial until it expires, but we recommend that you input your physical access code, so you do not forget it or purchase one online at this time. Next you will be taken to a page that prompts you to purchase an access code online, enter one that came with your book or continue your free trial. Once you submit, you will be enrolled in WebAssign and can log in with the information you provided. This is how you log in to WebAssign and how we will identify you if you have any issues. When following the steps to create a new account, make sure you jot down or remember the information as you will need it on the subsequent page, which asks for your username, password, first and last name, email and student ID number. If you do not have an account, choose the option to create an account. If you already have an account for any Cengage learning platform (WebAssign, MindTap, SAM or OWL), you can use those credentials to log in at this time. Then confirm that you are now in the right class. Enter the institution code in the first box, four numbers in the second box and the last four numbers in the third box. This displays a page with three entry boxes for you to input your class key. Once you get the correct class key, click on “I Have A Class Key” under Students or “Enter Class Key” at the top of. The class key is usually your school's institution code followed by 8 numbers. You need to contact your instructor to get the class key specific to your class. A great example comes from studies of the human chromosome. One might view this as a graphic example of how blind faith or trust in others can lead to extremely unfortunate consequences.īlind faith can also impact the field of science. It has been commonly accepted that when this happens, that the lemmings may follow the lemming in front of it wherever it would go, including jumping off cliffs to their death. The Arctic lemming is a small mouse-like creature that lives in the tundra and has intermittent population explosions that force them to migrate to search for food. 2 Truthfully, it did not help me sleep at all, but as I counted the unfortunate lemmings jump, I did gain some insights into the challenges associated with scientific discovery. 1 The video was taken from the Walt Disney documentary, the White Wilderness, which was released in 1958 and received an Academy Award. And, by their slavish, subservient behavior, they are preparing to go over the cliffs, right behind their Dear Leader. Some people count imaginary sheep jumping a fence to help them drift off to sleep, but last night I found myself reliving a YouTube video showing Arctic lemmings jumping off a cliff to their death. They watch as he fires four Inspector Generals who were doing their jobs, they applaud him as he works to take control of the FBI undermines our intelligence agencies, and corrupts the Justice Dept.Īnd, instead of helping to try to save what’s left of our democracy, they do nothing, look the other way, and put on their blinders and earplugs when it is being attacked. These lemmings see him ignoring the Rule of Law, dismissing the Constitution as being irrelevant. There is the Lemming Effect that enables entire segments of a society to lose their sense of judgment, all at the same time. But why is it still so widely believed? Because it is an analogy for human behavior, for persons who blindly follow a crowd even though it may lead to a disastrous end. The famous, old story of these lemmings jumping off the cliff is, of course, a myth. They are like puppets on Trump’s strings, they have been mind-conditioned by him to think as he does, He never stresses social distancing, and they say it’s not at all necessary. If Trump refuses to wear a mask, they follow his example. They don’t follow the rules, they make their own. These reckless people are Trump’s lemmings, and they are a distinct threat to their fellow Americans. It looked like there were several hundred crammed into the main room. Not long ago a large group of protesters invaded the Michigan state capitol building, some with firearms, including assault-style weapons. On the boardwalk in New Jersey people were standing right next to each other, very few wearing masks. We are seeing people on some of these beaches sitting under large umbrellas right next to each other, many of them without masks, in large groups acting as if everything has returned to normal. He has no idea of what he is doing and how harmful it is. What he’s doing is unconscionable.Īs these many states begin to reopen, we are seeing people go to beaches and parks and, instead of following the guidelines set by Doctor Fauci and the CDC to practice social distancing, wearing masks and such, a great many of them are ignoring that advice and acting very irresponsibly. By his failure to heed these warnings and then telling people that it’s OK to take this medication, his recklessness may well cause the deaths of many Americans. He has admitted to taking the hydroxychloroquine medication that medical experts have said is very dangerous to users. Also, he should be urging Americans to wear them to protect themselves as well as others, but he will not. There is his continuing refusal to wear a mask in public. There are two things that Trump is doing that are causing great damage to the overall efforts in this country to combat this virus. It is drifting aimlessly in the high seas. They are going off in various directions, there is no real coordination between them, with little to no assistance coming from this White House.Īmerica is like a ship that has a badly damaged rudder and a directional compass that no longer works. All 50 states are reopening, most without a step by step, well-developed plan to minimize the number of new cases of this virus. America is caught up in a state of chaos, increasing disorder, and confusion. We recommend downloading your account data before canceling your account (as you will no longer be able to log in). The more difficult an enemy is, the more Boss Strike points they will yield when defeated. Battles will be tailored to your level so anyone can participate. Selecting the FIGHT! option in the Boss Strike Event screen will start a battle that consists of multiple waves. You can only earn tier rewards once, with the exception of the Tier 10 rewards. So if you are in a Guild of 15 players and you complete tier 1 for 3,000 Steel, each of the 15 players in your Guild will be credited the reward. Being in a Guild is advantageous because everyone's efforts will be pooled together and when a tier is completed, everyone in the Guild is credited. You can try and solo the Boss Strike event, but it will be very difficult to do so. If you are not in a Guild, the "Join a Guild" button will show up. Different resources will be needed for different events. As an alternative to fighting, you can donate resources to contribute towards a tier. From here, you can read the event's description and check out what each tier has to offer. Tapping on the Boss Strike icon will take you to the Boss Strike screen. The timer indicates how much time is left for the event. When a Boss Strike event begins, you will see it appear on the top left part of the screen, directly below the mission icon ( ). The official explanation of Boss Strike can be found here. Players can choose to participate in this event solo or in a Guild.īelow you will find a simple overview of how the Boss Strike system works and what you need to know to successfully participate in it. FIGHT! - Battle and defeat enemy units in wave formations.Players earn Boss Points in one of two ways: These rewards are offered as prizes as players advance through the tiers by earning Boss Strike points ( ). Each Boss Strike event will yield exclusive rewards, including unique Units, Resources and Nanopods. These events will last for multiple days. Anyone, regardless of level, can attempt to scale the tiers by engaging in battles and donating resources. This type of event was first implemented in the 3.0 Patch. Boss Strike events allow individuals and guilds to battle waves of enemies for rare resources and exclusive units.

Chicago had four chances to gain 5 yards and win the game in the fourth quarter, but it was unable to. It should have been more, but this Commanders defense held strong with its backs to the wall, and with the game on the line. The Bears scored just seven points on Thursday night. The special teams recovered a muffed punt in the fourth quarter that led to Washington's only touchdown of the game, and then the defense shined at important times. That's because the Commanders came up big in big moments. If you were to just look at the box score, it doesn't seem like Washington won this game. Let's take a look at what went down in Chicago on Thursday night. Chicago had four plays to try to punch it in, but was unable to. After a 13-yard rush by David Montgomery, Fields scrambled for 39 yards to get to the Washington 5-yard line. It was recovered by Washington, and Robinson punched in his first career score two plays later to take a 12-7 lead.ĭown five points with just 1:49 remaining in the fourth quarter, Fields and the Bears offense took over. Punter Tress Way booted the ball deep, and Bears rookie returner Velus Jones muffed the punt just yards from his own end zone. On Washington's next possession, Wentz and Co. Washington's offense wasn't getting much done, so the special teams had to step up in a pivotal juncture. However, Scott Turner's offense stalled in the red zone, and the Commanders had to settle for their second field goal of the game. Wentz then went to work with a sense of urgency, going 65 yards on 13 plays. However, things finally somewhat opened up in the second half.Įarly in the third quarter, Fields hit Dante Pettis on a deep, 40-yard pass for the first touchdown of the game. The only points scored in the first half came via a Commanders field goal - the product of a nine-play, 57-yard drive which included 32 penalty yards. With how Washington and Chicago played out the first two quarters, it looked like we may not see a touchdown for the second consecutive Thursday night game. This was a tale of two halves in some ways. Rookie running back Brian Robinson recorded his first career start for Washington, and he rushed 17 times for 60 yards and the game-winning score. Justin Fields completed 14 of 27 passes for 190 yards, one touchdown and one interception, and also rushed for 88 yards. The Bears had a chance to score the game-winning touchdown on fourth-and-goal with just seconds remaining, but Darnell Mooney could not haul in a Justin Fields pass at the goal line.Ĭarson Wentz completed 12 of 22 passes for 99 yards with zero touchdowns and zero interceptions. Carson Wentz and the Washington Commanders got back into the win column on Thursday night, as they defeated the Chicago Bears 12-7 in a thrilling ending. The citole is a plucked stringed instrument used in Europe in the 13th and 14th centuries, which was held by means of the thumbhole in its short neck. As the only substantially extant instrument of its kind to survive from the Middle Ages, this citole has been collected by aristocracy and proudly displayed in a number of exhibitions prior to its acquisition by the British Museum in A brief introduction to the history of the citole will assist the reader in understanding the complex story of this particular instrument. 1), 1 and in the centuries that followed this unique instrument has been called a violin, fiddle, viol, gittern and finally citole, with some terms used interchangeably.
